#RivetingReads Roundup

What celebrities are reading lately, according to their Instagram feed.

by The Editors

In “Literature is Instagram’s Latest Accessory“, Alana Levinson analyzed the way that Instagram has become a platform to advertise what you’re #currentlyreading. This practice is particularly relevant amongst the feeds of Hollywood’s It Girls’. #RivetingReads is a new recurring feature that we will use as a way to track what books are being elevated due to Instagram exposure. We think it will be interesting to see how this plays out in the publishing industry, and we encourage you to add your own #RivetingReads finds! Simply snap a shot of a book you’re currently reading, just finished, or plan to read next, then upload it to your Instagram using the hashtag #rivetingreads. We’ll pick a few favorites to regram on our own Instagram feed every week, and hopefully we’ll start some good book talk, or at least provide you with some new reading recommendations.
